The practice of yoga over time may lead to enlightenment on many levels. At the beginning, it's all about learning the poses and moving the body. Yoga will improve focus, flexibility and strength when practice is consistent. Many find relief from stress, and are able to make important decisions with new clarity. Yoga starts working on the outside shell of the body and makes its way to a deep, cellular level -- much like peeling away the layers of an onion. Many people who are committed to yoga report feeling physically and mentally healthier and therefore, better equipped to handle life's inevitable challenges.
